In 1981, Erik Jakobsen, an established Maui restauranteur and classically trained chef from Copenhagen, Denmark, hit upon the idea of making the best seafood specialty items, but concentrated on having the widest variety of fresh fish available anywhere on Maui.

Set at the foot of the West Maui Mountains, in the Kahana Villas with a 180 degrees view of the pacific ocean, often when rain burst clouds clear, we are treated with a glorious view of the Islands of Molokai and Lanai.
